We live in a world of circular motions and cycles. From the moment we begin to breath in to the moment we take our last breath out, our breathing in constantly looping in between. Our sun rises, our sun falls, our moon rises, our moon falls. Our seasons change in the cycle of death, stillness, rebirth and rise. We live each day knowing it has a beginning and an end. We wake, we sleep. We experience life in a series of repeating days, weeks and months…
The real question is, are we experiencing life in auto-pilot or are we present and fully, boldly, consciously aware of what we are creating?
The truth is, most of us are still regaining consciousness. Most of us are still deconditioning. Most of us are in a process of bringing awareness to the life we are living, the patterns we’ve been looping in and the reasons why we keep doing it over and over and over, even when we want change.

I wrote this song one night when I was sitting on the edge of what was either going to be a breakdown or breakthrough. Painfully aware of all my shortcomings. Painfully aware of the root reasons for my past conditioning. PAINFULLY aware of the moments I would slip right into the mechanism of my default mode network, watching myself repeat the pattern like someone else was moving my body and mind. I was in the awkward transitional period of knowing I had outgrown the people, places and things I was surrounded by, knowing it was time to move forward and lean into fear. It was so fucking uncomfortable and yet, there comes a point where we must surrender and grieve all that we once were in order to make space to honor all that we really ARE. This song is a story of my mid-alchemical process and my prayer is that it finds you validated, justified and heard in all that you may or may not be working through right now.
Everyone talks about growth, self-love and awakening like it is some easy process filled with butterflies and unicorn farts. When really, it is incredibly challenging to wake up because then and only then, do you realize how much you’ve been self-compromising, self-abandoning and self-betraying from a place of conditioning. Only then do you really start to ask yourself WHY you are the way you are and if your personality traits are even in alignment with your TRUE NORTH.
It is a process of grieving, releasing, reclaiming, receiving, believing, and actively choosing new standards of self-love and healing. In that process, we can often “lose” everything, yet, deep down we know we are making space to live life consciously, integrally and choosing how we want to spend the rest of our days, weeks, months.
This place does feel like a tug-of-war between the old self and the evolving self that has been crying out for a long time to be free, seen, heard and valued in its unique beautiful frequency. The frequency that is you and only you can emanate.

Our thoughts become beliefs that become actions and creation. When you shift the habit of thought and take control of the mind, you begin to take control of your life:
The Mind Learns By Repetition – First of all, give yourself credit and compassion. You’ve been thinking the same way primarily the bulk of your life. Your subconscious mind is playing like a tape recorder in the background the program that is running your life. Pay attention and give it consistent, constant redirection. Whatever it is you desire, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. Especially in the morning and right before bed when suggestibility is at its highest with Theta Brainwaves.
The Mind is a Willing Servant – It is your minds job to keep you alive and it will do so by the old programs it knows it can survive by any means necessary. Ever said to yourself “this job is killing me!” then suddenly your unwell, fatigued, sick and feeling awful until you skip or call in? Your mind takes your consistent thoughts and makes them into beliefs. It is the willing servant. To reprogram it you must change what it is serving. Your mind will always take a strong thought and attempt to put it into action. Whatever thoughts have been planted that get the most attention, will find their way to bloom into being.
You Got to Feel it. - More than just telling yourself new things and repeating them, we must practice FEELING them with a strong emotional charge. Evoke the emotion; how does it feel to be pain free? How does it feel to be confident? How does it feel to live a life of peace, joy, health, wealth, connection and prosperity. Capture the memories of the moments in time you felt that way and practice feeling them fully. Practice as much and often as possible.
